Exotic Flushing

At this risk of taking this blog in a blue direction, what is the difference between these two buttons?

From, er, experimentation, they don't seem to do anything differently. I have my guess - based on the half / full pictograms - on what they *might* be for. Any ideas?

Larger... "deposit" require pushing the right button. As in 'it is almost full.'
    OR
Push the left button if you are a pessimist or the right button if your are an optimistic. Next month they will change the census buttons to numbers so you can indicate how many people live in your household.

Are there multiple buttons for the bidet?
More importantly, have you pushed them both at the same time?

  4. Outstanding. I'm glad that someone enjoyed the reference. I was also shocked to find the PDF!

Here's hoping that this blog foils the law of decreasing marginal utility. :)
